Thoona Alpacas is located 2.5 hrs drive North of Melbourne in Thoona, Victoria, Australia. (Central to Wangaratta, Benalla and Yarrawonga.) We are nestled in the foothills of the Warby ranges in a peaceful farming district. We run about 90 huacaya and Suri alpacas on our 30 acre property. We have a large range of colours from white right through to black, with the focus being on the finest quality blacks and fawns that we can produce.

As part of the International Year of Natural Fibres and National Alpaca Week, Thoona Alpacas are having an Open Farm Week from Saturday 2nd May through to Sunday 10th May. Our farm will be open from 9am until 5pm every day and we will be welcoming visitors from far and wide. We will have animals for sale, both males and females - huacaya and suri, in a wide range of colours. Pregnant females, females with cria at foot, stud males, young intact males, wethers and pets will all be available at very competitive prices. Come to Thoona and help us celebrate the International Year of Natural Fibres!

We have several high quality males available which offer good genetics at reasonable rates. Our genetic range includes Jolimont Warrior, Jolimont Sculptor, Yalin Nelson, Purrumbete Highlander, and Peruvian Hemmingway. Matings can be done on farm or mobile matings are available by arrangement. Support
